Samuel Eto’o has once again hit out at Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho – this time calling him a ‘puppet’.
The Blues boss was caught on camera earlier this season making unguarded comments which suggested that Eto’o was older than his official age of 33.
Eto’o retaliated by labelling the Portuguese a ‘fool’ before making these latest comments, which is almost certain to signal the Cameroon international’s departure from Chelsea this summer.
‘Contrary to what a puppet says about my age, I am still physically fit,’ Eto’o told the Confederation of African Football website.
‘At 33, I feel real good. I have proven that I could do better than youths.’
Eto’o, who scored 12 times this term, is out of contract after a season-long deal at Chelsea.
However, the former Barcelona and Inter Milan striker has reiterated that he has no intentions of leaving Europe just yet.
He said: ‘And I wish to also say that I am not going to the United States or to the Middle East.
‘I will continue at the top level. I will continue to play the Champions League.’
